Modern office spaces inside a 700-year-old restored farmstead

This old farmstead was renovated and transformed into modern office space for a major Dutch bank. The historical ambience was preserved, while the requirements for a 21st-century office were also met.

For the client, sustainable design was of high importance. Modern LED-luminaires were installed. The luminaires provide glare-free lighting, are energy-efficient and have an environmentally friendly design that can be easily dismounted and re-used.

Daylight enters the building through big glass panes at the entrances. The office cubicles also contain glass panes so that daylight can spread throughout the office.
