Elba hallen
From factory building to modern office
For a long time, the Elba Hallen in Wuppertal Germany were left vacant after an office supply company moved out. Now, the 19th century factory building is a modern, vibrant work space, all without losing its distinctive appearance.
Increasingly often, factory buildings are converted to offices. But how do you transform these vast spaces into pleasant and wholesome offices? In the Elba Hallen, the So-Tube LED fixtures were generously used. The linear, minimalistic design fits perfectly with the industrial look of the building. All the while, the fixture is of high-quality and spreads LED lighting in an energy efficient way.
The So-Tube can be assembled in different ways, which creates multiple design options. The fixtures in the Elba Hallen are hung from the high ceilings in a crosswise manner above the open-plan offices and in the separate meeting rooms.
