Sparkx
In Hasselt (Belgium), Sparkx has built Europe's largest sports theme park on an area of 3,500 square metres. The park offers a range of options for athletes, families, friends, and organisations such as schools and companies, with more than 50 different sports to enjoy. Through advanced technologies such as AR simulators, visitors will have the chance to experience less common sports such as curling, baseball and the Japanese-invented virtual dodgeball hado, in addition to traditional sports such as football and basketball. In addition, even less accessible sports such as paragliding, sport fishing, alpine skiing and wingsuit flights will be offered, suitable for all ages.
With more than 50 sports attractions on 3,500 square metres, Sparkx will be the largest sports theme park in Europe. It stands out not only for the number of sports that can be practised in one location, but also for technological marvels such as the country's first-ever alpine ski simulator, a virtual F1 circuit and an insvpressive wingsuit simulator.
What makes Sparkx truly unique is its emphasis on health and well-being, allowing different generations to enjoy sports and entertainment together. TRILUX, in collaboration with technology partner Fiber Unlimited, provided all lighting and connectivity solutions for Sparkx.
Together with Fiber Unlimited, TRILUX developed Optolux®. A connectivity solution based on Polymer Optical Fiber (POF) that can be applied in one operation with the TRILUX light line solutions. Result: less material, less labour, less costs.
